AFRA Vision & Mission

Self-representation, Self-empowerment, Self-confidence, leadership development and participation for Black Women and Youths.

• Empowerment of Black Women through training programmes which lead to self-reliance and self-confidence building.
• Development of (social) competences through linkages with formal and informal networks and encouraging exchange of information.
• Development of training programs to equip women with tools which would help them to deal with racism, sexism and social exclusion.
• Organising discussions, seminars/workshops and conferences that offer support to Black Women on personal and professional issues.
• Advocacy and consultation services on issues related to the black community, immigration, public institutions etc.
